If you’re a fan of Van Halen like me, you would have loved to have been at the 20th anniversary of Cabo Wabo in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Sammy Hagar’s cantina has been a must visit spot for fans since 1990. The great part about the shows is that they are FREE! The crowd of around 1000 people get in on a first come first serve basis which is almost unheard of these days. For the 20th Anniversary show Sammy came with the group who he is currently a part of, Chickenfoot. Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony (bassist from Van Halen), Chad Smith (drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Joe Satriani make up the all star band and they definitely didn’t disappoint.

I was there working for Best Buy doing a behind the scenes piece that will show on the HD Wall in all of the Best Buy stores among other places. Of course we had to go shoot some of the local scenery while we were there. Here’s a few frames.
